Well last Saturday I tried to burn my house down.
I was cooking
homemade French Fri with my two year old.
I turn the grease on. Then I went down stairs to change over
the wash. This was less than 20 feet way. I came back up the stair to the stair
well full of black smoke. I was gone for maybe 5 mins. I grab my little guy
which was just in front of me coming up the stairs and ran up the rest of them.
My stove and cabinet was on fire. First think that came to my mind was NO
WATER!!!!
Then it was get the baking power. Well!! I couldn't get to
it. As flames where to big, plus it was in the cabinet that was on fire.
So me I grab a hand towel and grab the pan and run to the
back yard and throw it. It hits the ground and catching it on fire for about 30
second until the cool air hits it.
Then I turn and go back in the kitchen which is still on
fire. I grab the sink sprayer and spray it all out. I make sure it is out good.
Then I and my little guy go outside. So the smoke can clear. Thank god! Me and
him are both ok.

If you have your
baking soda or power next to the stove, please move it to where you can get it if
your stove catches on fire.
